Why do handwoven textiles cost more than mass produced clothing?
Your Katnn piece takes 15+ hours of skilled artisan work, uses 100% natural materials and dyes, and directly supports craft communities with fair wages. Fast fashion uses machines, synthetic materials, and exploitative labor. The price reflects true value and your piece will last 10+ years, making the cost-per-wear far lower.
What are "imperfections" and why do you celebrate them?
In handwoven textiles, "imperfections" are actually authenticity markers: slight color variations prove natural plant dyes, uneven stitches show human hands (not machines), and asymmetry reflects the weaver's rhythm. These aren't flaws they're signatures that prove your piece is genuinely handmade. We include an "Imperfection Guide" with every order explaining what to look for and love.
Frequently asked question
Use this text to answer questions in as much detail as possible for your customers.
How do I care for handwoven, naturally-dyed textiles?
Hand wash in cold water or gentle machine wash. Dry in shade (not direct sunlight). Iron on reverse side. Natural dyes may soften/develop patina over time—this is normal and beautiful! Avoid bleach and harsh detergents. We include detailed care instructions with every order. Proper care = 10+ years of wear.
I'm between sizes,how do I choose?
We offer XS-10XL with detailed measurements on each product page. If between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort (handwoven cotton may have less stretch than synthetic fabrics). Need help? WhatsApp us photos of a similar garment that fits you well, and we'll recommend the perfect size.
What's your return/exchange policy?
14-day easy returns/exchanges. Items must be unworn with tags attached. Because each piece is handmade, please understand that slight variations from photos are normal (and celebrated!). If you receive a damaged item, we'll replace it immediately—contact us within 48 hours.
